Meet the girls: Sookie

Esta é a Sookie, a minha porquinha-da-índia self, agora com 2 anos.

Foi a terceira porquinha a vir cá para casa, uns meses depois da Miya e da Toffee.

A primeira semana da Sookie foi um pouco complicada para ela... Apesar da Toffee não se mostrar incomodada, a Miya viu-a como uma intrusa e intimidava-a constantemente.

Hoje, a Sookie é a porquinha maior, mais gulosa, maciça e guinchona das 3.
Guincha porque tem fome, porque tem medo de ser pegada ou porque lhe estou a tocar.
Na hora da refeição, é a que se estica mais para ver se recebe a comida primeiro e a que se lança para cima da tacinha de comida, dificultando o acesso à Miya e à Toffee.

Tem a mania que é cabeleireira e rói o pelo das companheiras.
É teimosa - quando a proibo de roubar comida ou roer o pelo, responde-me com um guincho mas continua a fazê-lo.

Mas é a porquinha que mais gosta de festinhas e que fecha os olhinhos nas horas de carinho.
Que tem os olhos maiores e as orelhas de abano mais fofas que já vi.

Meet Sookie, my now 2 year old self sow.

 

She was the third guinea pig to arrive, a few months after Miya and Toffee.

Sookie's first week was a bit complicated... although Toffee didn't seem to mind the presence of the new guest, Miya saw her as an intruder and was constantly bullying her!

Nowadays, Sookie is the biggest, the one who eats the most, the chubbier and the squeakier of the 3.

When it's feeding time, she stretches out the most to see if she can get to the food first, and then she jumps into the food bowl, giving Miya and Toffee some hard times.

If she was a person, her job would be a hairstylist... She likes to chew on her friends coat, giving them new looks, and improving my scissors hair cut.

Sookie is the stubborn one.
Whenever I forbide her to steal food or chew fur, she answers me back with a squeal and she gets back on doing the same.

But she is the girl who likes being pet the most, and closes her eyes whenever I cuddle her.

Who has the biggest eyes and the most cute floppy ears I have ever seen.
